EAST COAST

The scenic “Carretera Vieja” or TF-28 road stretches over 100 kilometers and features more than a thousand curves, crossing the ‘medianías’ of the island and connecting the capital with the south. This popular road is a favorite among cyclists, offering plenty of challenging climbs and descents.

Our excursion begins in the town of Güimar, where we'll start climbing towards the Don Martin viewpoint, which offers stunning panoramic views of the valley. From there, we'll continue southward, passing through typical villages of the island such as Fasnia, Arico, and Granadilla.

The terrain is varied, with continuous up and downhills that will test your legs and endurance, but are also exhilarating if you're in good shape. We'll be climbing to a height that varies between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, accumulating many meters of elevation gain along the way. Once we reach Granadilla, we'll have completed the most challenging part of our journey, and it's time to enjoy a 20 km descent all the way to Playa de las Américas, where we can relax and soak up the sun.

The route includes:

  • Expert guide
  • Energy bar or gel
  • Water or isotonic drink
  • Pick up from hotel
  • Transfer to exit point
